The Three Imperatives

Example of Bennett Athletics Student-Athlete Self Analysis

Allowing students to self-assess and analyze their performance is an invaluable tool in the learning process. By using this method on having students evaluate their own work, students can see where they have learning or skill gaps and focus their attention to their weaker areas of knowledge while harnessing what they do really well. In terms of setting realistic learning targets students can identify areas to set proper Student Learning Objectives for themselves and take the proper steps in achieving academic success. Clear procedures need to be addressed by the educator on how self and peer assessments will be conducted by what better way for students to revise their own work and track progress as they move through an assignment or project.
